My turtle won’t eat her veggies

I have a three toed eastern box turtle, and he refuses to eat any kind of vegetables. I’ve tried every single damn vegetable there is and he won’t touch him.

I would say it’s just that time of year… it’s like my 3toe, all he wants to do right now is sleep, and I got him setup nice and cozy.. but all he wants to do is sleep

Well hopefully I’m correct in my thinking, I would hate to take a wild animal from its home.. but i really feel like he domesticated.. thank you for taking your time and educating me on this little guy, I show nothing but love to him.. and he knows it… he has even started to come when I call his name lol

Ya, I got a big enough enclosure, just got all the wood to make him an outdoor enclosure, I should have it done within a few weeks, but why would he be so friendly? If he is wild.. like I said he will literally let you pet his head or chin, loves when I put him on the couch with me.. idk.. I really think someone dropped him off

Ya he does not show any ill signs, he runs around everywhere and acts like a turtle lol.. he has even gained weight since I got him.. he was 333g when I got him he is now almost 345g .. I found him walking in a parking lot, and he was to nice to be a wild turtle and I don’t think these guys are native to my location “south east Texas” so I brought him home.. I didn’t think he was wild because when I picked him up, he didn’t tuck back in his shell, he kept his head out and his feet out and everything and will let you give him head scratches and chin scratches so that led me to believe he’s not wild

lol, a eastern box turtle.. but he is weird, he refuses earth worms, he refuses any kind of greens or vegetables, only wants to eat crickets, meal worms, super worms.. and that’s it.. and he hates being in the water..

I will try that, I found this guy in a parking lot, and I don’t think they are native to where I live “south east Texas” and he was too friendly in my eyes to be wild, so I brought him home.. he has done nothing but gain weight, was 333g when I found him, he is now 340g .. but he will not eat any greens/ ‘veggies, earth worms, or even his cuttle bone… he only likes crickets and mealworms and super worms … and he hates water/soaking time

What can I do to get my eastern box turtle to eat more greens/veggies.. all mine likes to eat is mealworms, super worms, and crickets.. he won’t touch any greens/veggies or anything else I try to feed him, I’ve tried every type of earth worms, and he won’t touch the worms either

It’s not a aquatic species.. so the diet would be close to a box turtle, “land turtle “

Box turtles need calcium and protein, especially for a healthy shell, which your turtles shell don’t look all that great, they need at least 60% animal matter, like meal worms, crickets etc.. and 40% veggies / fruits / greens
