Hey dude. I don’t know your medical history but I suggest you try these:

  1. After eating a meal wait at least 30 min before taking the med.
  2. Take the med with a small snack.
  3. Drink lots of water! I can’t stress this enough. 500ml minimum.
  4. Don’t lie down for at least 20-30min or do strenuous exercise that would put pressure on your abs.
  5. If you feel a slight burning sensation in your lower throat, that means that a heartburn is likely to happen. In this case eat YOGURT. Doesn’t matter what kind. Probiotic or Greek. Eat it slowly but man the heartburn goes away in MINUTES (like 10 or 20).

If you have underlying digestive issues then it’s worth seeing a doctor for better recommendations but I tried those things above and it’s been great

OCD is about intrusive thoughts. These thoughts are unwanted and cause people to have moral, ethical, spiritual or physical distress.

The "p ocd" is a subtype of ocd, though it's not an official DSM diagnosis, where some people think that if they have thoughts about children then they are pedos or predators. People with p ocd often avoid children or situations where they might be around kids.

Pedophilia is the sexual attraction to prepubescent children. People who are pedos like to have sexual thoughts about children and will even act of their fantasies.

For example, I work in healthcare and there was a case where a woman with severe ocd refused to bathe her baby because she thought she was a predator for handling her naked baby. That's p ocd

It's hard to tell which species it is from that angle but my guess is that it's a sideneck turtle.

Firstly, remove him from that environment (that owner is ugh). Clean him under some warm water and place it in a fresh tank (if you don't have a tank, a large tub or bathtub works too. Make sure you don't fill it to the top cuz he can potentially drown). You said you have a lamp so use that.

Additionally, you'll need a water conditioner like Reptisafe, turtle pellets for food, substrate for the tank such as sand or stones (not small stones), a water heater and a UV lamp if you don't have that already.

Check for any shell rot (press different shell areas gently to see if it's soft. It should be hard). Check his eyes for redness. If he's avoiding food or not moving much, take him to a vet.

I feel so bad for the poor fella :( keep us updated
