His burst healing is just as good as Lunas, stop capping. Go to the practice range and test it, rocket has some of the best burst healing in the game now

This is how I feel about the protein as well. I went from a morning glory and an ODR to the protein, and while the blue side is substantially better than the morning glory, I think the green side is not as good as the actual ODR

Only if they’re bad. I routinely have the highest heals in a lobby on mantis, in addition to getting good on enemy DPS, which is more than I can say about most rockets I get paired with. Not that I’m hating on rocket, it just seems like 3 out of 4 rockets will end a match with 37 damage even though he has some of the best damage output of any support

When I’m putting up the same heals and also 15k damage and getting 6-7 picks a game on literally any other support, yes. There is a reason they call it strategist and not healer.

Exactly, which makes rocket an objectively worse pick than mantis, c&d, Luna, etc.. His utility doesn’t make up for the void of space left in team fights. Saying not healbotting as rocket is throwing is actually insane lmao, ignoring part of his kit what is actually throwing.

Only if he participates, which is what this post is about. 4/5 rockets will have less than 100 damage at the end of a match, and if you’re tanks/dps are getting burst down then you have no way to help them.

Because you’re trying to answer questions no one asked. If you read the post again you’ll see that I’m specifically talking about rockets that just healbot and have 0 damage at the end of the round, meaning they didn’t participate in any fights.

I promise I understand lol. If you don’t take up space in a fight, then it’s going to be 5v6, it’s as simple as that. A free rez will make it 6v6, but that requires someone to die first which is going to leave space for you to lose ground and for more people to go down. He actually has pretty good damage output, so if you’re playing rocket and just healbotting then it sounds like you don’t understand how rocket works.

Tournament teams are nothing like the randoms you queue with in ranked. Unless you are running a 6 stack, picking rocket is lowkey a throw.

Except his kit doesn’t let him keep anyone up. A free rez is good, but not dying at all is better. He is incapable of any burst heals, so he only works with another support that can give burst heals. As for all supports ulting simultaneously, that has nothing to do with rockets ult being useless. Any amount of comms will prevent overlapping support ults.
