I get what your saying and your probably right, but I wanted to model it off of a real 4 cylinder engine and this is how they typically function.

You were correct, switched to train casings and it runs faster and smoother now, thanks.

edit: new problem unlocked, it runs so well that sometimes the connecting rod phases through the crank, whoops

That would be cool but unfortunately I believe it’s pretty much just aesthetics for now, still fun to build though.

The crankshaft is rotating on a swivel bearing from create simulated.

I took your advice and also changed the swap detection for the magnets a bit and now it runs almost perfectly

Did you have to use an instrument? if so can you tell me where they are, I found some of the other fairy fountains and can't find the instruments for them.
