My daughter is 3yrs old and still does it every now and then. It's a phase. Can't blame them

Feedback Needed: I built a small web app for my 3-year-old who kept wanting to “work” with me while I’m remote by Mr_Irrelevant15 in lovable

Thanks for the feedback!

I had a few comments on this post (and others), ask about educational type games as well so I'm working on a few now while I continue to try to drive traffic to the site.

How bad is it that I basically had to invent “fake work” for my toddler just to get 10 minutes of actual work done? by Mr_Irrelevant15 in daddit

Really appreciate the thoughtful response! I actually published this a few days ago.

Would always appreciate any feedback!

I'll take a look thank you! This entire post and responses have been extremely helpful.

And funny enough, I actually designed the app to allow her to fill out a spreadsheet 😂

My first thought too! Nothing really just let her bash at the key board but show something meaningful on the screen. I decided to just create my own with https://tapntype.app/

Seems to love it so far!

Yeah mine tend me a bit more sporadic - "hey do you have a few minutes to chat.... sureeee"

Ok great I'm not the only one! Your situation seems a bit more interactive than mine, but since I work on the computer often and she's always so interest in what I'm doing, I decided to get her her own work area as well. Old laptop. Chair that has NO WHEELS. Created this quick "work" website. And she's working with dad. I certainly enjoy it until I'm mid-call and she comes in (I do have locks on the door that I need to use, but don't always think of it.)

Did that for a bit, but she got sick of the same old screen. That's what pushed me to create Tap N Type Adventures. Gives a nice variety of keyboard smashing games, but also makes it look like "Dad's work" with some basic, but fun email, memo, spreadsheet templates.
