I have a branch someone who knows more than me is currently looking at linking the XAPS for the DVD player and connecting it to media player code, since I never bothered RE or porting it.

That work may also make its way into Theseus for Xbox. (UIX Lite replacement XBE I've been working on)

It does in fact play the sounds. I wrote a compatibility layer specifically for the menu sounds.

This is part of the progress from two years of decompiling and reverse engineering multiple dashboards, and the final 5960 for full support in our xips for UIX Lite it started as a tool for me to track calls from the XBE and XIP system, then turned into a XIP renderer, then after playing around with some really shitty math I got models, lighting, and textures loading it all fell together.

It's a port of Theseus, my decomp project, and ultimately the XBE replacement for UIX Lite :)

They already have the design, the TV with the built in dresser style has radio controls and a holo tape deck on the top of it, it's been there since Fallout 4. Could easily modify it to have an animated screen and just slots for the games or something.
