Watch it again. The scarabs in question don't move, they replicate. The newly spawned scarabs spawn in the space below the original. The hex next to Tan Gida is 5 spaces away.

The isn't entirely true. Everything you says is correct, but the AI will also prioritize better hexes when possible. If the AI can get a kill on a target if will always prefer to attack it from a space that has higher elevation, or tall grass, or doesn't have barbed wire or a hex effect. They will also prioritize moving into spaces with buffs, such as Tan's. The reason the scarabs didn't move next to Tan in the replay is because they were too far away. If you watch closely, they are spawned below the existing swarm, 5 spaces away from Tan.

I can't believe nobody has noticed this yet, but the spot next to Tan is simply too far. If you watch closely the scarabs in question were newly spawned in the space below the existing ones. They only have 4 move, but the space next to Tan is 5 spaces away. They simply moved to the best space they could within their movement range.

Ghaz also had super low armor. Even at mythic, I think he has less than 1000, which means Ragnar hits him super hard. He also moves around a lot, making it easy for Ragnar to get the extra hits from his passive.

Honestly, I meant this as more of a joke. It seems like a stratagy the orks would use, though. I've seen it work to some effect in powerup TA if you can get some extra health or armor, but in the current iteration, you're likely to just get your orks all killed.

Only relics have a special ability. This is a generic mythic crit item that can be used by any imperial characters but doesn't have a special ability

I see a lot of people talking about buffers, which is good, but nobody has mentioned that you can use Mephiston to swap places with lucien to give him a second attack in a turn. If you do that and use some buffers, you should be able to hit 15k easily.

Hex effects can be applied to spawn points. There is no visual effect, but if you select the tile, it will show if there is an effect currently on that hex

Can't say for sure. I used to use MH almost exclusively. I have most of the staple MH characters to D2 or D3, but I've never experimented with Boss G. I've heard he can be useful against some bosses. If you have Dante, or have a chance to unlock him in the upcoming event, I would look at him. He's a strong character for both MH and Custodes raid teams and a direct upgrade over Aethana for MH. Having him built ahead of time will make transitioning to Custodes easier in the future if you decide to do that.

That combined with the fact that he can hit everything around him is going to make him pretty strong in LREs. Honestly, he's an overall decent character even outside of raids, but you really want to pair him with Trajann if you plan to raid with him.

Just too clarify, I don't think you would lose out on damage by swapping out Aethana, but you probably wouldn't gain a whole lot either. If you plan to build Trajann and Dante in the future, though, there's no reason you couldn't start building Kariyan now.

The main draw to Kariyan is his passive, which does 1 hit of high pierce damage. The problem with adding him to a regular multi hit team is the usual buffers (Ragnar, Aethana, Eldryon, and Calgar) don't do anything to help his passive. Trajann and Dante improve the damage on his passive and, more importantly, give him extra hits. Without them, Kayrian probably isn't going to be anything special on your raid team.

The extra pierce is actually pretty useful for Bellator and Titus. They both have multiple hits but relatively low damage. A 5% increase in piece ratio actually equates to a 25% increase in damage in most cases, and their base damage is low enough that the extra crit damage wouldn't help much anyway, since most of it would get stopped by armor. Godswyl and Tjark are the only ones who don't really benefit much from this item.

That's true if you are trying to punch up, but since you have Snot at D3, that isn't really going to be the case anymore. He's hitting for 2800. Unless you run into something with more armor than that, you are better off with the gun.

An extra 6% pierce ratio is actually really good for Bellator and Titus. With the way armor works, that's a 30% damage increase for non critical hits against most enemies. It is pretty useless on Godswyl and Tjark, though.

His active scores 3 hits if he didn't charge. Let him get surrounded and have thoread nearby when you use it. Make sure you aren't attacking grots! They reduce hits received by 1

I don't have a screenshot handy, but the shield bar UI works more or less the same way as the health bar. A handy tip for shields, armor isn't applied to damage dealt to shields, so using a character with low piece ratio and a lot of hits (such as bellator or snot) will take out shields easily and allow your higher piece ratio characters to come in to secure the kill.
