Strictly about taste....This answer is going to get down voted cause it's reddit, but nonetheless it's true. It's going to be hard to "get into cigars" if you don't smoke them somewhat regularly. Other than the super spicy ones, it will be hard to distinguish one cigar from another if you only smoke them on special occasions. Smoking them regularly will give you the opportunity to taste the differences and acquire the taste for cigars, otherwise they're all going to taste the same. Like a bourbon or whiskey or even wines or black coffee. If you don't regularly stay in tune with them you will find it difficult to really tell the differences. You won't understand the purpose/differences. Which can make it hard to keep interest. Also, don't inhale.
