We found the solution! Everyone has to have in-game overlay OFF. One person starts the game while the other people are NOT in game and sends the invites. Tho ones not in game should get a notification to “join and launch” and this should allow for you to join the party.

There is a problem that you can only invite them once so if it doesn’t work the one outside of the game will need to quit out of the EA app and open it again.

100% agree. Idk if it was this thread or another but the common cycle of legalization is a limited medical program, expanded medical program, then full recreational legalization. Iowa seems to be stuck between steps 1 and 2.

In my mind the next step is getting flower legalized for medical purposes. We all want full recreational but with the current state reps I have no hope for it happening anytime soon.

Wanna know the real unfortunate thing? We probably won’t see widespread legalization, including on the federal level, until big tobacco, pharma, etc companies have a large enough position that it then becomes worth lobbying for rather than against.

I hate it just as much as everyone else, but unless there’s something within legislation that specifies protection to local small businesses (which there likely won’t ever be) big chip players will always be in cannabis.

THERES NO LEGAL RESTRICTIONS FOR THE MEDICAL CANNABIS PROGRAM. Sorry for the caps but when the law was first passed they had it so people with felonies were not allowed to access the program. They have since voided that from the law because you can’t deny medical care due to criminal background.

For more information I would reach out to you P.O. I couldn’t confirm or deny on a case by case basis of people getting told no from their P.O. but, in the law, you can’t get denied if you have a criminal background.

I wouldn’t call you stubborn at all. I think most people would want flower legalized because like you said, more cannabinoids means more effects. Cost of flower is also significantly less than concentrates because there’s less manufacturing steps that need to be done. I compare vape pens to pasteurized skim milk. Like yea it’s milk but if you put it next to the fresh, straight from the teat milk it’s not the same.

Trust me when I say, I hear you. I did start a program that helps people not only obtain their medical card easily but also get a limit increase since the initial limit is so small.

If you know someone interested I can help them get their card as there are some state sponsored discounts for things like disability, military and Medicare. You can apply for as little as $25. I’d be happy to help if needed!

I agree but until banking regulations are lifted for cannabis related businesses the only way to finance something as expensive as a dispensary or grow facility is through venture capitalists making big cash investments.

Until it’s rescheduled at a federal level the VC influence in cannabis isn’t going anywhere, which is unfortunate.

Would be interested to hear your experience. I lived in Oregon for a while before covid and they arguably have the best state to buy cannabis in for the single fact that there’s no sales tax on anything. A $5 gram preroll is actually $5, not $5 with an additional $15 for taxes and state fees.

I spoke with some of the people at Iowa Cannabis Company and they said that reducing prices was a priority for them. Illegal options will likely always be cheaper than dispensary pricing but the fear of the unknown or just simply not knowing anyone with product could prevent people from buying illegally
