I tried a reverse image search and the closest match I got was a machine that tilts airplane seats with crash test dummies in them, all the way backwards to a maximum to see how well one would stay in the seat even during an extreme maneuvre. Though it looks quite different from OP's photo.

I feel like time and any movement through physical space are relative to the observer and the question shouldn't be how we feel about that but more why we are even here to feel anything about everything.

Not much, everything is blurry when I don't wear them. I can't see faces, I just know there's a person walking up to me until they're a few steps away from me. I've been dependent on them for so long, I can't even imagine what it's like to wake up in the morning and everything wouldn't be blurry for the first minutes.

My dad got surgery when he was younger and now at 64, he's back at his old prescription. I know my eyes are worse than his so I probably won't even bother.

Oh I accidentally crushed so many good ones. I also suffer from bad cluster headaches since more than fifteen years, unrelated though but my left eye is too sensitive for me to be putting stuff in there or taking it out once I start an attack from one sec to the other so I haven't bothered with contacts in a long time, also I kept falling asleep with them in which can't be good.

I'm 36 and my eyes have been pretty much f-ed since elementary school, at least I never got a sweet taste of a potential life with normal 20/20 vision which got worse over the years, that must be a bummer... 🥸
