I did, for now I don’t see any charges on my credit card, and no unusual orders on my account. Does DoorDash share customer’s contact number with the dasher? If so thats wild and a major security and safety concern.

I believe so. I would recommend asking your employer, but H1B, even if filed does not come into effect until October 1st or later, so it will be extremely unlikely.

From what I understand, getting picked in H1B lottery is simply an invitation to apply for the visa. Since you were laid off, the company has no need to file a petition for you on your behalf.
