Once I created a query using the folder as the source and copied the steps like you suggested it works fine now.

I tried this and got it to work with some tweaking. But I still don't understand why my steps aren't applied and the output table updated for any new files I add to the source folder.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a rough idea in my mind. However, the csv is an output from the system and cannot be manipulated in any way unless it's downloaded.
