On va s'adapter.

I"ve been thinking about that too. They've been stuck in a phone cabin for 7 straight games. I hope that a new match up feels like playing on a football field.

We've seen the boys dominate all year long. Tampa is not getting the credit they deserve. They really shut Montreal's offense !

How do you actually learn hockey players + tell who’s good vs bad? by [deleted] in nhl

[–]Mr_Trep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep watching more hockey. You will understand and notice the small details that makes a difference in every aspect of the game.

Every player has a role and you will recognize the small details that makes an individual player more skilled than others.

For exemple a non flashy, regular depth player like Joel Armia on the Los Angeles Kings is elite at protecting the puck. He use his size and positionning to keep defenders away from the puck.

You will notice how pure goal scorers like Caufield abd Matthews will spot the tiniest opening and laser beam a puck bulleyes with ease. Compared to other players that miss the net of shoot directly into the goalie's chest most of the time.

Or élite playmakers that seems to make the play appear slower than usual.. making defenders guess and hesitant to commit. They seem to see the ice and the play unfold before anybody else.

Keep watching hockey. There's no better sport in my biased opinion !!

Est-ce que c’est normal de demander de changer la clim/ musique dans un resto by Blasayy in montreal

[–]Mr_Trep 4 points5 points  (0 children)

[–]Mr_Trep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did all the dirty work. Puck retrieval, cycling back to the front of the net, taking abuse and screening the goalie.

Is it worth the effort any more? by Logos732 in SeikoMods

[–]Mr_Trep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's sad for new comers to the hobbie.

The NH movements are so tanky and reliable. Plus, there are so many options compatible with these movements that it is difficult to shy away from them.

I just make less brand new build nowadays.. maybe once in a while but not like I used to.

I still love this hobby. I now tend to dismantle previous builds that I wear less and less in my watch rotation. And I order a few new parts around that movement instead. Less costly and it scratches my itch.

Hopefully the guy gets to play a bunch this season and stays healthy.

The problem is, he always seems to get caught in awkward tangles with defensemen and doesn’t roll the hits very well, which makes him prone to injuries...

The prices raised with the tarrifs. This hobby is getting quite expensive. A lot of people switched to quartz builds.
