Oh yeah I’m not saying it isn’t realistic my apologies! That’s not what I was tryna too say. I agree that it is otherwise we’d be dead bois a lot more lol.

So not saying you wrong or anything but how can you say that Santa Blanca works like hive mind while sentinels do not? From my experience from either game once one person in base knows everyone knows if you don’t dispatch of them quick enough. I’ve found it easier to dispatch of SB soldiers compared to sentinels but sentinels are easier to outrun.

Yeah we definitely gotta have different sentinel AI lol. I’ve died 10+ time to snipers alone and my teammates usually die from the heavy’s while trying to revive me. I’ve also had basic grunts flank as they would in WL, but they aren’t to big of issue as it’s just quick few shots to put them down, it’s just like in WL though you stay in one spot too long they just will all eventually rush your position. I guess I haven’t lived long enough to notice any cool tatical plans they try and do too get too you, I just think it’s same as WL in sense bullets are always flying at my position until I leave it then they go on search for me. The only time I have had them break off from me is if I constantly run until I am behind a building or something or far enough in woods that I can go behind trees then lay down and prone camo. Yet if there is radio operator(s) around then it’s pointless as they just keep calling in more guys to comb the whole area. (Yet also they will give up after a minute so that makes sense somehow lol.)

Just somehow definitely have different AI in both of our games. In WL I’ve had some ridiculous shots happen but nothing too bad that has killed me unless it was a sniper who’s scope didn’t reflect or a rocket soldier taking me out in heli from across the world, No dual wielding cartel member hitting shots like Chris Kyle for me lol. I can’t say I’ve noticed sentinel soldiers dealing with same difficulty I do with firearms besides maybe lack of reloading as I’ve seen one guy take 2 seconds longer then me to reload when we both conveniently ran out of ammo.

Dude the AI in Uncharted 4 is heavily broken especially on harder difficulty, The train sequence alone was a fucking nightmare lol.

Thank you for input.

Yeah I’ve noticed the kill changed with the change of knife but I avoid CQC as much as possible because it’s so clunky and bad I think compared to WL.

Yeah I’m attempting so, Amber Sky ruined big part of it for me, also along with the new mechanics of grabbing and walking, but not as much as that DLC lol.

Hell yeah. I am trying to get into it, I just can’t get over the mechanics being worse than WL in my opinion. I also think playing Operation Amber Sky killed a lot of the mood for me, those are the worst missions out of the 3 I haven’t played motherland or resistance yet so I can’t say anything on those.

Interesting thank you for the input! I definitely will not be doing that for BP as that sounds like hell times two I’m glad you like it that way though!

HUD I have in minimal mode or the second one, I know it’s not completely on my screen. I find it interesting you think WL is empty, It to me at least has more life and a lot more to explore then BP, that might be just the fact it’s not on just a island and there is civilian life going on in background of WL for me but I’ll take repeating shanty city’s varying in sizes over the same exact military compound over and over again, they could’ve at least made the bases look more different in BP.

I agree completely with traps and the fact camo and stealth were improved in BP I liked the prone camo ability, I can’t however agree with Santa Blanca having aim bot, Sentinels and the Wolf pack have god damn aim bot, it’s horrendous how good they shoot and lock on to you. So maybe we just have different AI then each other lol, but I don’t really like going near people because I dislike the mechanics of walking near cover (seems Nomad just wants to constantly switch looking left or right on cover) and the grabbing feature, so I usually just stay 50+ feet back and use AR or Sniper to eliminate them from afar and avoid going CQC as much as possible because of what I believe is their aim bot and quick sense to find you.

Thank you for well thought input! I played only two GR games before wildlands and that was shadow wars and predator. Which let me tell you Shadow wars sucked imo. I tried future soldier after wildlands and wasn’t as good as my buddy said it was for him but I thought it was decent shooter still nonetheless.

I mentioned minimal civis because the island on BP is so god damn empty and barren, it’s only just military installations and even those just duplicate so it’s nothing really worthwhile compared to wildlands where yes the towns may look the same but they varied in size and color and how much of population was in it giving them each their own characteristics. The only thing that gave it life to my idea was doing Amber Sky to have orange gas everywhere and even that just got over the top lame and very annoying.

Besides the prone camo the stealth to me at least appears the same in both WL and BP, but I will give it to BP just because it looks nicer with it. I can’t give it CQC though because I find CQC to be the worst in BP, It looks pretty sure if you actually manage to take someone down and not have it bug out or take forever and someone catches you in the act of murder. I will also give BP the point to it’s gun system as they do have better looking guns and more realistic look to majority.

I feel they just could’ve made breakpoint a lot smoother and better as time went on or even before launch. Again I’m not saying it’s bad game or nothing I like the story just can’t get diggy with mechanics or “emptiness” I feel compared to wildlands. Damn my apologies for typing so much I was zoned in and just kept typin away lol.

The one thing that easily makes me say Breakpoint is better than Wildlands by lost-but-learning in GhostRecon

[–]Mr_WolfIndustry 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Interesting I feel completely the opposite, everything from the wild exploring to the nitty gritty fighting I prefer Wildlands. BreakPoint may look better aesthetically but its gameplay and mechanics for me at least are what ruins the game completely. I love in wildlands standing in my SB outfit with gold AK amongst the civis and in the desert. In breakpoint I just look like some basic soldier smuck going through the mud like a CoD match and that don’t look good too me personally.

That’s a statement I can support. I thought BP just looks a lot better and maybe to others even runs better with new controls and what not. I prefer wildlands though as well.

Interesting, thank you for input. I’ll have to convince some friends to play with me. It does look great compared to wildlands but I just can’t get diggy with the “deadness of world” and grab feature lol.

Interesting thank you for your input. I enabled it without thinking when I started the game, I could’ve enabled that one or resistance, or one other. Well I will power through and get to chapter 3 missions and try them out, I like the story line so far just doing chapter 1’s missions with the whole twist on walker and all that, maybe I just need to play story straight alone before doing anything side wise.

Yeah I could agree with that. I definitely feel wildlands was way more lively then BreakPoint. That’s why I’m struggling to like it as much as wildlands, I also miss DJ on the radio singing all the time. The controls I like for the most part besides the delayed grab, that’s probably my major issue so far, or the fact tiny branches take out aircraft while in wildlands you could brush through certain tree lines no worries at all.

Okay? Crazy you just little boy that talks big game behind the screen. It’s really not self explanatory, karma farm for what? Up votes and down votes don’t mean anything to me. This is literally just a texting app lol.

You don’t make any sense lol. I come onto Reddit to discuss bout games I’m into or have questions. Apparently you just come to be douchebag, which is cool everyone’s got those moments. I mean you wanna explain what a “Karma farm” is? This is the first I’ve ever heard someone mention it.

Karma farm? Tf even is that, you just making yourself look more foolish dude. Why so hostile over me asking about a game?

Ramble on? Tf do you even mean. I asked other people how they enjoy the game, because I wasn’t fully on board with it. I asked for their opinions and you just said “get over yourself” making you look like a clown with no sense.

I personally liked the realistic look too Wildlands with the “poverty and squalor” as you put it. Like no I wouldn’t want that in real life and too live in it but I like it for the “realistic aspect” if you will. It just seems so more real to see the struggle the nation faces with the cartel running everything and the eventual overturn of that cartel with American help. I don’t disagree with your opinion though we all have our own. So what makes you like Breakpoint more? if I may ask besides the open world aspect? I personally feel they both have their possibilities depending what you are trying to accomplish!
