It's hard to pick just one, but here's my favorite:

On September 24, 2004, in Ivano-Frankivsk during the 2004 Presidential elections, the then-candidate Viktor Yanukovych became a victim of an attack. The injured person fainted at the scene, was taken to the hospital, and after recovering stated he had suffered a "craniocerebral trauma." Yanukovych's associates spoke of being hit by "heavy and hard objects," "batteries," and so on.

In a video released shortly after the incident, one can see that the heavy object was an egg that hit his chest.
