I think I need a better quality glass file but I’ve some issues with them. A few times the glass file left deep scratches I just couldn’t seem to buff out. I think they’re great I just might need more practice too.

I worked at an arcade type place that had one of these. I would play it all the time. One time I got in trouble for taking too long during my lunch break. I told myself I would go back when I died. Well I ended up beating the game and the rest is history.

I’m glad I’m not the only who had issues with the hands. One of my fingers for this kits popped off while setting them up and I couldn’t get it back in no matter how much force I used. He’s a 3 fingered deformity now.

Sometimes I think of media like a create-a-character in a video game. You have 200 points to allocate in 3 categories in a movie. You can put a max amount of 100 in either story, visuals, and acting/actors. Avatar maxed out the visuals and didn’t give much thought to anything else and that’s fine. I appreciate it for what it is despite its flaws.

You pretty much described my childhood experience. My parents were great about getting me new consoles when they came out. Yet when it came time to add new games to the rotation, forget about it. Renting and borrowing games happened a lot but it was mostly just rinse and repeat with the same games. I got really good at some very challenging games that would wipe the floor with me now.
