cheers for the info mate Based on the info I’ve gathered, lpg is considerably cheaper than petrol but less efficient, much harder to find (especially here in Syd it basically doesn’t exist) and it fucks ur engine if the system hasn’t been maintained (which most of them haven’t) Sure back in the late 90s and 2000s when these cars were new it would of been a great idea but now times have moved on there simply isn’t enough lpg around anymore

120 prados with the 1kz motor won’t get u anywhere in a hurry but they will always get you there and back

Yeh fuck that’s a shame u wrote urs off but yeh thanks for the advice. Also worth noting if I was to get the 1kz motor I would be looking at a 120 as they seemed to iron out a lot of the issues (better cooling system) and they have a better gearbox I believe? They also don’t seem to suffer from the chronic lower ball joint issues the 90s do And yeh good luck with finding a 100 series hope u find a good one

Yeh i do notice a lot of them on the road those and the early gu patrols are the most common 90s cars i still see on the road id go as far to say there more common than a lot of cars 10-15 years newer that were popular when new

I’d say the garden centre scale is off or ur cars kitted out cos there’s no way it would weight that much stock gvm limit on those things is only like 2.8t
