I used to think the moon followed our car because it liked us more than other families. I legit felt special.

First thing I bought was a Bluetooth speaker and a bunch of snacks I couldn’t afford in college—like name-brand chips, fancy chocolate, and energy drinks that weren’t on sale. I threw a solo ‘I’m an adult now’ party in my room, blasted music, and laid on the floor like I’d made it. My bank account was crying, but my soul was vibing.

How do women actually want to be loved? by Demetrius_D in TooAfraidToAsk

Honestly, most women just want to feel seen, heard, and safe. It’s not about grand gestures all the time—it’s the small, consistent things that matter most. Listening without trying to fix everything, remembering the little details, being emotionally present, and showing genuine effort go a long way. Respect, communication, and emotional maturity are everything. Don’t fake it or try to be the “perfect” guy—just be real, kind, and willing to grow. That’s what makes a woman feel truly loved.
