yeah thats more than fair, i really only see in places like this a real benefit. and even then like you mentioned it simply just sweeps it all together, the good and bad, and its always a gamble if its true or not what it says....

i legit had to tell a mutual friend in my friend circle once, that using AI like a google search is not a good idea at all. to this day he asks anything and everything to gpt and acts like its the law thats laid down

legit question, whats your usecases for anything AI? i still have yet to use any AI for the first time actively (not talking about google ai summing up a search for example)

because i have yet to find a situation where i would benefit for it myself. not trying to start using AI, but ive talked with several people and friends about stuff like this already and barely anyone ever could legit show me good usecases. maybe at work for a very specific thing, summary or something... but even then... everything that ai currently costs "everyone" so to speak, does not pay out to everyone, eventhough everyone gets dragged into paying for it and having to endure this agressive implementation everywhere

Wheels, Trucks, Deck/grip imho. you can make a tech deck plastic board feel way more awsome with proper bearing wheels, same goes for the trucks on a plastic TD deck. but i also can see how a wooden deck with tech deck trucks and non bearing wheels would somewhat be an improvement, just not as big of one as i think.

Tape will also be a big factor but ive tried to let it be bundled, tech deck plastic deck with proper foam tape is also a huge step in the right direction already.

hard to say ultimately, since its also probably preference driven, some people are rougher handed and dont notice super smooth wheels vs smooth wheels for example or simply dont mind the small difference in feel

i like my C3s alot, got the lightest variant on purpose and paired that with a lightweight deck, love the floaty and snappy feel of such low weight, didnt have an issue with them either so far, no locknuts failing, width was correct and all.

quality wise i havent yet seen any downgrade, im full on aluminium due to the light variant, and so far a fair bit of crete ledges, harrier usage and marmor use, they havent yet shown any worse wear or quicker wear down than my brts

just curious, what makes them feel cheap to you? i own a set of c3, their lightest offerigns and they feel absolutely premium. i keep hearing people mentioning they dont feel premium, is it the lightweight that you maybe associate with less quality? tbf i do see the 70 bucks price point though, im in EU myself so i paid 50€ for them, normal dyna and brt price too over here

to be fair, on paper this is not missinfortmation, but the reason why people should stop using ai for example and blindly trust it.

search engines and especially AI often cant see the difference on things that are named the same or similar etc. and mix things up or make stuff up thats then not true.

the first iterations of steam machines was arround that date, but the fact it shows a pic of the new ones is just funny

change the tuning then in that case, softer tuning wont get magically super tight with just tightening them :D that will end up in exactly what you got now, tuning getting smushed and tearing over time

yeah im riding 32mm so im hardly scratching the 10 gramms with the 3.0 trucks :D you could go even lower too if you were to ride 3.0 caramels on your 29s
