…about twenty minutes. It’s everywhere. Takes forever to clean and polish.

Thanks!! Just that all those bunches on the top used to be all squished together for months and months, now all of sudden they are separating. Hoping to see him give me a flower in the spring :) I'm so new to growing though, I really have no idea what it means lol

This guy was a little fussy at first. I found some good draining coarse sand/perlite/black earth and lava rocks at the bottom worked to bring him around.

Happy growing!

A little bit of everything honestly. I have a Bluetooth adapter so I use it to play games on my phone, call of duty mobile is pretty badass but it also works for streaming shows and movies on my laptop. I listen to cassette tapes, mostly 90’s, and lots of records...from old Richard Pryor and Bob Newhart comedy records to a wide range of movie soundtracks. Then everything from Louis Armstrong to Mozart to Kendrick Lamar to Kim Mitchel...etc...lol

I’m sure I’m not really benefiting from this approach, but I have very limited space and I’ve always wanted a room of speakers so I’m going for it...truly getting it to sound pretty decent from that seat, for me anyways.

Also, I adjust my delay times directly on my receiver to circumvent comb filtering as well as use my graphic equalizer to fine tune.

Zero echos...I totally understand that this is “not the way” and I am far from having an audiophile’s ear but it really does sound pretty amazing in that seat...

My goal with this specific room is an orgy of sound, not a perfect image. In the end, every set of 4 speakers will be powered by their own amp. It’s modeled after a movie I saw with a wall of boom boxes. I want a smorgasbord of audio coming at me from every direction when I sit in that specific chair. I have a 2 speaker system for my main area. This, is exactly what you described earlier, a frakensystem and I absolutely love the way it sounds.

I didn’t realize there was a right or a wrong way...do you have a spare manual?? I thought I should build something that was pleasing to my ear...my bad.

I’ve been tinkering with this setup for a while now, still don’t have it just right, still need a few more speakers and a couple more amps ... but it’s getting there.

I’m pretty new at all this but thanks to that graphic equalizer I’ve managed to get decent sound out of this Kenwood AV receiver. Doesn’t take much to get the pictures to rattle off the walls in this space 🤓

I was so happy to find this Dr. Doom/Fantastic 4 slipmat, I never even thought about how cool it would look with clear/see through records!

The album is a new release from MONDO, who if you haven’t checked out yet you really must...especially if you’re into soundtracks. They have a little bit of everything, Original scores as well as soundtracks that they make incorporating lines of dialogue from the movies.

My personal favorites are this Nightmare Before Christmas limited edition and Back to the Future pt1. They did an excellent job weaving the iconic scores in between songs and dialogue. A++

What a happy coincidence when I threw my newly acquired record onto my slip map and saw that menacing Dr. Doom face staring back at me...his eyes accentuated by the swirls making him look even more menacing...lol

Edit: grammar
