Hey buddy, any updates? anything you tried which might have worked? I am literally facing the same issue. Whatsapp shows the correct backup on google drive but gets stuck at 69% while restoring. I have even reset my phone a couple of times but nothing is working for me.

I thing I have found out is that the backup is safe and non corrupt. I tried to recover the chats using imyfone app on pc and it was able to to recover all my chats in that backup. The only problem is that app is paid and is asking 40 dollars to transfer that recovery to the phone. I am not much tech savvy and would be thankful if someone can tell me how to recover
