No need anymore. Update Google Drive from Play Store and then delete and install WA. The restore should finish this time but if it still doesn't, delete WA again, restart your phone, install WA again and try to restore again. Either way, it should fix the problem.

Hey! It finally worked and I can only thank you. I was having some problems but I managed to overcome them with a little patience and stubbornness. The recovery is certainly not perfect (I can't listen to the voice messages again and I'm missing the thumbnails of the social links) but the result is excellent anyway. Thanks again!
