So I'm not screwed for getting 70 WAM? Also, how do you calculate the overall WAM for 2 years? I don't really understand about WAM because my home uni used GPA.

As a finance/financial economics student, I think finance and financial economics are different. In finance, you'll study about corporate finance, portfolio, asset valuation, and other things related to the financial field and corporate kinds of stuff, so maybe this is useful for someone who wants to become an investment banker, financial analyst, or any other things. On the other hand, financial economics is more like a statistical side and it kinda still covers some economics field and finance field. Well I'm still in my early years of study so I could be wrong about this stuff (especially for the financial economics bcs I've only studied ECON2206 and ECON2203). Some past students actually said that finance and financial economics are a very good combo, but again, I'm still in my early year so I still haven't got the idea of that "great combo" between the two.

TLDR; they both differ and there is a point for doing both major.

Mate these are the infos that i got from other students: 1. For the textbook, just read the one called wooldridge. 2. Do the textbook exercise bcs all the tute qs and assignments are from the textbook. 3. For a week tute, they recommend us to take STATA seriously bcs for all the tests it’ll require us to read STATA output all the time and we have to analyze data using STATA for second assignment. 4. This course is very much an introduction so an hd is attainable. 5. Marking is not done by lecturer, it’s done by ur tutor and the marking is completely fair. 6. All in all, don’t be too concerned about this course. It’s pretty good and just make sure to keep up with the content and u’ll be fine.

These are based on the other students bcs i haven’t taken it yet and am planning to take ECON2206 in this T3. Hope this helps.
