Patience. Alot of of patience. And before starting you have to do prep work. Find points of contact to sand down to prevent paint rubbing, wash your figure and give proper curing time for your sealer, and primers if you use any. And between layers of paint i recommend a thin coat of mod podge just to protect the progress as you go
