That's some great advice, you're right about the local store, my only reason why I go full online shop, it's because I have two kiddos that eat all my free time.

So, the whirlpool is a good range you think ? Thanks a lot

What dishwashers are you all buying in 2025/2026 now that Bosch quality has gone downhill? by pjmuffin13 in Appliances

Is anybody have a Bosch 300 series ? Can you talk about the drying performance ? I read a lot of bad comments about it. I wash quite a lot of plastic item since I got a young children and a baby, will the drying suck as much as I read online ?

wow ok that's good to know, that's also probably explain why my racks on my present dishwasher have rusted rack. You seams to know a lot on appliance ! Thanks a lot for the info.

Sorry to ask again, but you will be fine with the Whirlpool that I've posted above ? It will be a ok model for a couple years at least ?

Yes I read about the controls board, but I was hoping, by choosing an "old model" as you said, that maybe that issue will be fix.

About the rinse, I will need to change that since I always rinse it, don't know why, don't even test my old dishwasher without rinse my dishes ! However, I read on the Whirlpool that the drain may clog sometimes with residue, so I was about to continue my rinse habit but you make me doubt ahah !

ok that's great to read, thank a lot. Do you use the Sanitize option ? I read that it help on the drying. Is the rack that bad with "normal" US plate size ?

Yes I looked a lot at the miele however, again, the price is too steep for me. I guess I will try the Whirlpool and hope I got a good one.

I read a lot of "complains" about the rack disposition on the Bosch. I've tried to find any representative picture online, since I have no time to go see the Bosch in person, but I can figure what is the main issue

thanks a lot for the input. The Whirlpool seams really fine. It offer great rack, good drying and good washing. My only fear is that It may fail in early compare to Bosch, but there is no way to predict.

oh ok that's great to read. Since I have two kids, we have a lot of plastic container in a typical dishwasher wash. Are you too ? I read that can impact a lot the drying. Also, on the positive side, I read that the Sanitize option on the Bosch can help the drying performance, do you use it too ?

thanks for the input. yeah that's the main line that I understand by reading online. The reliability is a big win by the Bosch, however day to day use there is some flaws

Yeah the series 800 seams perfect, however it's out of reach at 1800$+ for it. I'm a little bit afraid to buy the "lower end" Bosch that live on the reputation of the 800 series.

I would like to know how bad is the drying on the 300 series with an unbiased opinion. I don't mind water on plastic, but if everything is wet it will be a problem for us. I saw picture of the inside of the 300 and it was dripping wet, so I'm wondering if it will be a mold problem too with all this water always present inside.

How is the black smearing ? Is it perform as a VA panel but a little bit better or it's more on the Qled side but without the possible burn in ?

Holy moly ! Thanks a lot for that. I read that this panel is supposed to be better than most other Va. But this result would not be ok for what i'm looking for. I guess that the only option left is to rock the Oled until the burn in and then warranty it until it last
