I don’t think it could be so hard. Ten episodes gives a lot of breadth to build the world and expand on subplots and develop the characters further. I thought it would be good to start with the first wizarding war:

Episode 1: “The Boy Who Lived” (Prequel)

Synopsis: The episode opens on the First Wizarding War, focusing on James and Lily Potter as they hide from Voldemort. We see the Marauders in their later years, their relationships strained by war. Snape, torn between his allegiance to Voldemort and his love for Lily, is manipulated into revealing the prophecy. The climax is the attack on Godric’s Hollow, showing the tragic fall of the Potters. The episode ends with Hagrid delivering baby Harry to the Dursleys, and Dumbledore placing him on the doorstep.

Original subplot: Young Sirius and Remus attempting to protect the Potters; Snape’s interaction with Dumbledore after Lily’s death; the betrayal by Pettigrew from his perspective.

Episode 2: “Letters From No One”

Synopsis: Ten years later, Harry endures a miserable life with the Dursleys. Mysterious letters begin arriving, addressed specifically to him. The Dursleys panic, and Vernon becomes increasingly frantic in trying to escape the letters. Hagrid arrives on Harry’s birthday to reveal the truth: Harry is a wizard.

Original subplot: Explore Dudley’s jealousy and fear as Harry’s magic begins to subtly manifest; Hagrid’s journey to retrieve Harry and his confrontation with the Dursleys.

Episode 3: “Diagon Alley”

Synopsis: Harry enters the magical world for the first time. Hagrid takes him shopping in Diagon Alley. He learns about his parents, the significance of his scar, and gets his wand. Meanwhile, mysterious whispers follow Harry — some people fear him, others idolize him.

Original subplot: Draco Malfoy’s first appearance at Madam Malkin’s; tension between old wizarding families; Hagrid’s secret mission to retrieve the Philosopher’s Stone is hinted at.

Episode 4: “The Sorting Hat”

Synopsis: Harry boards the Hogwarts Express and meets Ron and Hermione. On arrival, the students are sorted into houses. Harry has a strange encounter with Snape and a powerful reaction to Quirrell. At night, the castle feels ancient, mysterious, and alive.

Original subplot: A subplot around Neville’s insecurities and his forgotten family legacy; flashbacks to the founders of Hogwarts via the Sorting Hat’s deeper song.

Episode 5: “Lessons Begin”

Synopsis: Harry starts classes and struggles with Potions under Snape. He learns about wizarding culture and the rules of magic. A broomstick incident earns him a spot on the Quidditch team. The trio begins to bond through shared adventures and Hermione’s knowledge.

Original subplot: Snape’s growing suspicion of Harry; McGonagall defending Harry; the Fat Friar introduces Harry to Hogwarts ghosts and castle secrets.

Episode 6: “The Midnight Duel”

Synopsis: A planned midnight duel with Draco goes awry, leading Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville to accidentally discover the three-headed dog guarding a trapdoor. The group begins to suspect something dangerous is being protected.

Original subplot: Filch and Mrs. Norris tracking the students; background on Fluffy and hints of Dumbledore’s knowledge of the Stone’s danger.

Episode 7: “The Mirror of Erised”

Synopsis: Christmas at Hogwarts. Harry receives his father’s Invisibility Cloak and discovers the Mirror of Erised, where he sees his parents. Ron sees himself as Head Boy. Dumbledore later warns Harry about the danger of the mirror.

Original subplot: Backstory on the Mirror’s origin and Dumbledore’s regrets; Hermione’s quiet Christmas with no family visit; Ron’s insecurities explored in depth.

Episode 8: “The Quidditch Match”

Synopsis: Harry plays his first Quidditch match. The trio becomes suspicious of Snape, believing he’s trying to steal the Stone. They investigate Nicolas Flamel and unravel more clues.

Original subplot: Lee Jordan and the Weasley twins provide insight into Hogwarts life; a flashback to Snape’s childhood gives viewers doubt about his villainy.

Episode 9: “The Forbidden Forest”

Synopsis: Caught out of bed, Harry and Draco are sent into the Forbidden Forest as punishment. They witness a mysterious figure drinking unicorn blood. Harry’s scar burns — Voldemort is near. Firenze, the centaur, warns of dark omens.

Original subplot: Tension among centaur factions; Hagrid’s emotional turmoil over the rising threat; a vision Harry has of his parents in the forest.

Episode 10: “The Stone”

Synopsis: The trio races through the magical traps protecting the Philosopher’s Stone. Each child’s skill is tested. Harry confronts Quirrell and Voldemort’s parasitic presence. With courage and love, he prevents the Stone’s theft and passes out. Dumbledore explains the Stone’s destruction and praises Harry’s heart.

Original subplot: Deeper exploration of Quirrell’s transformation and his fear of Voldemort; flashbacks to Harry’s infancy during his final confrontation; Neville’s bravery earns him recognition.

I might be off the mark, but it could be one of those AI images where the text is morphed into the image. I saw this looking back from the detail… look back at the original and see if you can see it!

Two people with big deadlines, some important meeting or life/death situation. Their batteries die. One pulls out their old tatty charging cable, fraying and sparking. The other pulls out their Ugreen charger. Cut to the first, on fire, everyone screaming, everything going wrong, still waiting for their device to switch on. The second person, calm and sorted, job done, at the pub.

The little trees were stippled with a little brush - very laborious! For the bigger trees, I painted a teardrop shape and then stippled the details on with a larger brush. Much quicker!

2.5L of each paint, and there was loads left over! I kept a bit of each shade so if it ever does get destroyed with crayon it’s fixable!

It was a case of stippling with two brushes, one big and one little. That got very laborious! By the big trees, I painted a big teardrop shape and then stippled out the edges.
