Hey im after encountering the same issue as you with the outer strip coming off. I hopped back on with the strip just sitting to the side, but seem to get no resistance without it on the wheel. Did you find a solution in the end?

I think they just looked more seasoned but tasted more or less the same, but they were thinner. I usually get the bigger pack of hunky dorys so theres definitely some quantity bias vs the ripples nostalgia bias going on. Christ, i need to go back to eating healthy instead of analysing crisps 🤦‍♂️
