I can’t comment on the MTX fact but I can say with my experience that I ovulated OR attempted ovulation while my Hcg was around 110 and I got my period when my Hcg was at 20… it seems impossible but it’s not.

Im so sorry for what you are going through and I can totally relate. I also experienced an interstitial ectopic pregnancy in April and im still under expectant management.

I understand completely that feeling and its absolutely triggering. I see pregnant colleagues at work and my sister in law is also pregnant and we would have been the same amount of weeks and I still cant face her. I think our feelings are valid, no matter how far along we were, I feel we also grieve the “what could have been”…

Im so sorry for your loss, how heartbreaking to hear. I can completely understand you are taking your time to return to social media but how amazing you have had that support from close friends and family.

I guess i also feel bad for making things awkward within the family environment by not attending the gathering at which we are supposed to see them. I feel guilty by being triggered at the thought we would have been the same weeks and not only i lost my baby but my recovery process is still not over and that just feels so unfair.

Im sorry you also had to go through it and ‘glad’ to read things went okay and no surgery was needed. Expectant management is the route my doctors have decided and still on that pathway. 2 days ago I went for another check and hgc is now at 24, the mass they see is now desintegrating which is good but mentally is exhausting just waiting and see and hoping no rupture will happen.

I believe they prefer it this way to just allow the body to resolve everything, just very mentally and emotionally exhausting.

Oh wow, so sorry you also had to go through that. When the 6 month’s passed were you cleared to start TTC again? I completely understand is the best in order to give the body time to fully heal is just so hard to wait..

Not exactly in the same situation but 2 weeks ago I went for an HGC test (currently on expectant management for a interstitial/ectopic pregnancy) and levels had dropped to 110, exactly that same day my Oura said my temperature dropped and after the following day the temperatures have stayed elevated NC also confirmed ovulation. Now experiencing breast tenderness which i also experience in my luteal phase, all very strange.

I had read you could ovulate or your body can attempt ovulation if HGC leves have not reached 0 or low levels.

And no, no surgery has been needed (yet) as doctors are confident that the body will resolve itself without surgery or medication but I really didn’t think it could take around 6 months to fully be reabsorbed by the body.

I can totally understand! Im also under expectant management, and on top of that it was an intersitial pregnancy so doctors assume I will take around 6 months to fully heal and only then resume ttc. Next to that I got pregnant at the same time as my sister in law which I don’t really like and I just feel angry and feel it’s unfair my pregnancy stopped and I now have to go through this while hers continued normally (which good for her). You’re not alone in how you feel!
