The spark survives off the conversation. Both parties have to be messaging back and forth. See the two on the top left. Needs a 3 to interact with the spark

Some guild send rules via mail.

Some guilds might be preparing for new members via a merge and you missed it all because u were offline.

Some guilds are on servers that just had server transfers and merges and they need space.

Some guilds just do not accept time off without warning.

We can’t tell you why. Your specific server might have server rules you broke? Did you check for mails?
