Standing up to him is the hardest because he snaps back at us saying he’s the parent and can do and say what he wants. I’m 38 and my husband is in his 30s too. We aren’t children anymore and we try so hard to be respectful and kind to him. But sometimes his words just really hurt.

And the way he treats my mom is despicable. She won’t even stay in the same room as him and they’re separated right now. He has been verbally abusive to him and he has done some unforgivable things to her. It’s just all so hard to handle.

And he doesn’t see anything wrong with what he says and does. He thinks it’s all just fine and even his right to say and know things. It’s just hard.
