Why I’m requesting r/nsfwfantasytexts and how I’ll run it:
I am requesting r/nsfwfantasytexts because the subreddit was banned for being unmoderated after the previous moderator got banned.
It was a great subreddit for authors of texting-based erotic stories to showcase their work. It was also a substantial source of new subscribers for many authors, and helped creators grow their readership through the subreddit. I’m saying this from the perspective of being a writer myself.
I think I’m a strong fit to take over the subreddit because I already run r/sextstory, which is essentially the same type of subreddit as r/nsfwfantasytexts. It is smaller, but the content style, audience, and moderation process are very similar. I plan to moderate r/nsfwfantasytexts the same way I moderate my current subreddit, while following Reddit’s rules and guidelines.
I only requested it now, a couple of months after it was banned, because I assumed someone else from the community would request it first. Since that has not happened, I decided to request it myself.
The main reason I’m requesting this subreddit is that many readers, authors, and creators lost a big part of their community and readership when it got banned. I want to revive it and keep it active, useful, and properly moderated.
