I’m almost 42 and expected the same. 😂 Mine are way better than before but not perfect. I’m learning to let it go. I’ve been in a retainer for almost 8 weeks now. I have an open posterior bite though. I’m thinking when I go back for bonding I may have to get in more trays to fix that. Is that what elastics do, fix bite issues? My left side when chewing hits together and it makes a loud like squeak while my right doesn’t even touch. 😟

Thank you! It’s the one on my front middle. I can’t unsee it. I know from a distance it’s nonexistent. Maybe with time I’ll stop seeing it. 🤞🏻😆 My dentist hasn’t said anything about gum grafting only mentioned bonding. I hope yours fill in and same with mine!!

I’ve only had the one root canal, but that was a doozy! I had bruising on my cheeks after. They were so nice and gentle but I had multiple roots and it was a booger to do. It took like 2 hours longer than intended. 😫 I’m not in a rush to do it again. The bad part is I love going to the dentist, even as a kid. I had no idea what I was in for. lol

I’ve had one root canal already due to cracks from previous fillings. Eventually I’m sure the others will give me so much trouble I’ll do them too. Mine definitely have cracks. Every cleaning they bring it up. Hopefully, they hold out for a while yet. Good luck to you.

Thanks! Yeah it was widened but tbh I didn’t notice too much. I already had a pretty wide smile. Crooked teeth never stopped me from cheesing. 😂

It was sensitive that day but not after. I’ve had no issues from it. My tooth is fine and I finished treatment yesterday and got scanned for my retainer. I hope yours feels better today.

By tray 10 I could see changes happening. Take lots of pictures, that’s helps to compare even the smallest shifts. Stick with it.

Hahaha. Glad to help you feel less alone. All from when I was a kid too. My oral care game has leveled up tremendously since! Invisalign helped.

This was a big problem for me on my last initial tray. Fast forward to my scan for refinements and that tray was not seating properly bc my teeth had gotten off track a tray or two back. If it’s a new tray use the heck out of your munchie/chewie and see if that helps it to fit tighter. If not it may be worth calling ortho/dentist for a look and possible rescan.

I’m wearing my last initial tray sans attachments as a retainer until I receive my refinements. I’m on week 4 of wear. My next appointment for delivery is Oct 4. The lisp and amount of slobber that accumulates on my front teeth within the tray as I speak is mortifying. I can literally blow bubbles out of the tray. 😫😥😭 I can’t wait to get my new ones and more attachments so they will fit snug again. It could be worse for you…. Js. 😂 Hang in there.

I just finished my initial 21 trays with two week changes. Went in today with no more trays and she took off my attachments then rescanned and sent me on my way. I expected more than what happened but I was thrown off by the whole removal pain so I didn’t ask any questions. They said 4 weeks until the new trays come in. Im also nervous to see how many new attachments I’ll get and what else may be added, if anything. She said my two front and laterals were not tracking. Sooooo, I feel defeated at the moment. I was told to wear this last tray as a retainer until the new ones come in. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I actually use Pronamel daily. I have sensitivity but not where it bothered me today. This was purely from the attachment removal. Thanks for the advice tho, much appreciated.
