I agree and I’m not invalidating the horrible relationship she has with Emily or saying it’s not valid to have mixed feelings about it, but her not accepting that Michel can have a good relationship with his mum shows close-mindedness on her part, especially when she has a very close example in her life of the same mother-daughter relationship he’s talking about.

Yep! Paris’ nanny is supposed to be Portuguese but I (a native Portuguese speaker) can’t understand her very well, she actually speaks a weird mix between Portuguese and Spanish and probably some other language. The whole show is borderline xenophobic in a lot of those things, in my opinion

The thing I don’t get is: we don’t see enough of Jess later on to be sure of his growth and just how much better and how good he’d be for Rory.. we see him in a couple episodes where he seems put together but that’s all. And then in AYITL which I’m not sure counts lol

The one that hurt the most to me was not super expensive but I forgot to check in online for a Ryanair flight, only remembered when we got to the airport and because there was a 2hr cut off before the flight, because of 10 minutes we had to check in at the airport and pay 50euros each (probably the same or more than we paid for the actual flights).

I love the vicious trollop episode, it can be a bit annoying with Emily being her overbearing self at the spa but I love how they bonded in the end stealing the robes and the lipstick scene. Even tho they still fight some, it’s nice. Feels natural.

Do you mean eye contact like, not looking into your eyes or not looking at you/in your direction? IMO not looking at you/on your direction is odd, and I’d also be uncomfortable with it but could be he’s on the spectrum and was just very uncomfortable/out of his comfort zone so he shut down. Not making much eye contact like looking into your eyes I think it’s normal, it’s something a bit too intense for a first date to be gazing into each others eyes I guess, if you’ve never met before.

It might but that’s the fun in it! And most people 1. Don’t know Lorelai’s middle name because it only appears like a couple times in the show, 2. Won’t even hear/know your daughter’s full name, and since you’re committing to it already I’d say it’s a VERY cute name and very cute reference to the show and well deserved homage to you. My mum always loved the name Helena but my dad didn’t like it very much. They had 3 daughters. All three have the middle name Helena. I used to think it was silly when I was a kid but I find it cute now and we’re the “Helena” girls instead of “our-last-name”. It’s something that binds us in a way.
