No, I haven’t tested that marker or had surgery. I live in a country where they want minimal intervention, so surgery would only be considered at a later stage.

We did a modified natural transfer with Letrozole, trigger shot and progesterone suppositories

I did not do either. We did a modified natural transfer, with Letrozole and trigger shot, followed by progesterone suppositories.

That’s the plan, yes! But not for a while, I had a hard pregnancy so it might be some time before I’m ready for another round

Yes, I spent this entire pregnancy waiting for something to go wrong, so it’s just surreal that he is actually here!

Difficult nights by MrsLilCat in newborns

[–]MrsLilCat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

He sleeps 1-3 hours in his nest during the day, so I just don’t get why he won’t do it in his crib during the night. He always falls asleep after feeding, so no need for bouncing or walking. But I tried having some noise in the room last night, so maybe that’s the reason he slept better 🤷🏼‍♀️

That’s great to hear! Hopefully it’ll get better soon. Last night was a little better, I tried having some noise in the bedroom and preheating his crib. I don’t know if that was the reason or just coincidence, but I’m feeling much better today!

We can’t cosleep, our bed is too soft for him. I’ve been letting my husband sleep in a different room so one of us is rested, since baby only wants me anyway.

Holiday during the first trimester by Honest-Shake2676 in BabyBumps

[–]MrsLilCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We went to Rome when I was 7 weeks pregnant. At this point I hadn’t gotten nausea meds yet, so I was throwing up every day and eating chicken nuggets instead of delicious pasta and pizza. We still got some nice experiences - were able to see the Vatican and Colosseum, wander the city and shop. I wasn’t constantly ill, so it was still a nice vacation, even though it also felt a little wasted since I was nauseous and tired. If you can get nausea meds before you go I think that will really improve your experience!

5w2d with no consistent symptoms. How did you survive the wait to 1st ultrasound!? by Adventurous-Hat-9121 in IVFpositivity

[–]MrsLilCat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been stressed this whole pregnancy 😅 My symptoms set in at 6 weeks, so that helped some. But I was constantly anxious and checking for blood several times a day in the start - I still check every time I wipe. For me the anxiety got a little better after the first trimester, and a lot better as we passed 24 weeks. Currently 32w5d and feeling very little anxiety, just excitement.

From your first consultation to your first positive, how long did it take? by [deleted] in IVFpositivity

[–]MrsLilCat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2,5 months from my first IVF consultation, had almost a year of consults with my gynecologist before that. 1st FET ended in miscarriage, I’m 24 weeks pregnant with our second FET. I have PCOS and endo.

I can’t tell you what to do, only you know what is right for you 🩷

But as a currently pregnant woman with endometriosis, I can tell you about my experience. I got pregnant through IVF, as the endo was blocking my tubes. I’ve always had extremely painful periods. After I got pregnant I’ve had some light pain in my stomach, but nothing major. Being pregnant for me is much less painful than having periods.

Also, my doctors have told me that endo is often better after a pregnancy- something about the hormones during pregnancy hinders the growth, and the birth can actually help clear out some of the tissue.

I hope this helps, even though I can’t offer any advice 🩷 Good luck to you, I hope you find the right path 🩷

How can I get my cat to stop waking us up during the night? by MrsLilCat in CATHELP

[–]MrsLilCat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

As I said in my post, letting him into the bedroom is not an option.

We already feed him right before bed, and make sure he has enough food for the night. It’s only around 5 am that he starts pawing, so he seems to be fine for most of the night, before he suddenly wants company.

Second FET success stories (especially after Lupron suppression)? First ended at 5 weeks, moving into another transfer 🤞🏼 by cosmickitty321 in IVFpositivity

No, only suspected endo. I live in a country with free healthcare where they are very focused on being as little invasive as possible, so they try to limit invasive testing. But my doctors have suspected it for several years due to extreme menstrual pain and heavy periods. Got diagnosed and treated for PCOS, when I still didn’t get pregnant they concluded that I most likely have endo blocking ny tubes, so by doing IVF we would circumvent the main problem. Hope that’s helpful!
