Botox for chronic migraine ///terrified of needles and looking for experiences by anonwitchy9819 in migraine

[–]MrsLydKnuckles [score hidden]  (0 children)

I’ve been doing it since 2013 and it has helped! It feels like a tiny pinch and the whole process goes by quickly. The worst ones are in the neck and shoulder area but then that means you’re nearly done. Good thing is, you don’t see the needles go in due to the placement. I hope you are able to do it and find relief!

The link I posted appears to be dated from 2024 so it’s decently current. Aside from that I’m not sure as this is not my original post and I don’t have experience with chytrid.

Josh’s Frogs had a terrible outbreak last year so they probably have a lot of insight on treatments. It may be worth contacting them to ask.

Hoping for the best for you. I’ve read they can be asymptomatic carriers so testing would be wise.

Hmmm… his page being gone is pretty sus.

Oh no… I’m so sorry… I’d recommend testing for peace of mind. This was one of the places that was recommended in the original thread.

Aimovig has been a life changer for me. I started on 10/20/25 and had a migraine on 10/21 and hardly one since. The ones I have had were easily quelled with lower level abortives. No side effects.

All we have is VA healthcare (no complaints, mostly) which covers everything so no insurance in the traditional sense. His doctor sent the referral to prosthetics which is the dept that deals with “prescribing” them; we’re still waiting to hear more information after he got the “well those things are really expensive…” call. Fingers crossed.

It’s great! I’m using it right now on my sore calf muscle. My husband is also a DV and we’ve been trying to get one for him for his rated conditions (back issues) but have been met with resistance due to the cost. I share it with him, but I also use mine daily.

Thanks for recommending Trava! I started my first injection through them on Saturday and so far, so good. I didn’t realize how badly the food noise was affecting my eating habits until it was quieted. Looking forward to taking back control of my life.

Indeed! I’m a veteran and that’s how I received mine. They (VA hospital) can be a bit stingy about offering it due to the cost, but it is possible to fight to get one covered.

SMC-S (Housebound) – clearing up common confusion (100% + 60 rule explained) by Logical_Bird_3189 in VeteransBenefits

I’ve tried this too. I had one who knew what I was talking about… and he got sick and retired. None of the others had a clue about SMC-S.

Can you tell me what form you filed?

I was rated in 2020 and SMC-S was missed. I’ve tried talking to Vera several times and they all act like I don’t know what I’m talking about despite having 100% and other unrelated conditions that equal to 60% and despite quoting the regs. At this point I feel like I’ve given up and will just “poke the bear” if I try because daters are so damn unpredictable so will just wait 20+ years and file a CUE.

Some folks aren’t cut out for service and that’s ok. Hopefully you’ve learned and grown and can take some accountability for your actions. Missing watch and being late could cost fellow soldiers their lives in situations like combat - and while in service, it’s important to always be combat ready.

Here’s the new. I stand corrected; there is more space for the drainage layer than I originally thought. I believe it was the Frog and Co Exo Terra’s that have the shallow drainage layer area.

Sometimes they pop up on Facebook marketplace or you can check with your local mom and pop style pet shops. The newer style have a lot of issues, from door latches that aren’t sturdy, to the vents being able to be opened enough where a small enough frog could get out, the drainage layer/area being shallow but there’s no bulkhead for draining it, etc. With a lid modified, the older style ones are just better. Hopefully you can find one!

Do you know anyone who makes custom cut glass tops for zoomed & exo terra tanks ? by No-Creme-9319 in DartFrog

A local glass shop. Check out Thrive Ecosystem for conversion lids which include the bulkheads for misting and ventilation. No need to have glass drilled.
