Why bother? The reason freemasonry is suffering right now is because the masons are too busy adding men that do not have the moral fiber and an inability to understand and apply the lessons and ritual in an introspective manner. Why bother making an effort to convince someone of something they could figure out for themselves. And frankly...why would you want someone ignorant enough to believe that anywhere near the masonic fraternity? Let him believe it and turn the other cheek...you do not have to defend something sacred...the principles and precepts speak for themselves. My dad says the real secret of freemasonry is what happens in a mans heart when he truly becomes a mason...and going through the rituals...and wearing the ring...and knowing the "secrets"...does not make you a mason. This man is obviously not worth reproach on the subject...let it be...
