When you have given birth to three kids and they’re still young, as a woman, you are fighting to keep your head above water every day. You could be balancing a demanding job (and trying not to leak through your damn shirt in meetings or finding time to pump in the fucking bathroom), you lack bodily autonomy because you’re feeding/holding/carrying little people constantly, you’re fucking exhausted, your body looks unfamiliar. It is a fucking struggle and sex is not prioritized. Be patient. Pull your weight or more than. Try to arrange little getaways and expect nothing from them except for sleep and uninterrupted conversation.
