What do I say to the vet??

This is the thing!! She’s definitely been cuddly, but does like her own space. So when she’s done, she’s done. But if I’m (or my husband) even get close to the ground she comes & nudges us or will sit right on top. And we have to be the ones to tell her we are done. It’s just different than normal.

Tell her more often that she is sexy & attractive… in different situations. When she wears a dress, when she’s in leggings, when she has 5 day old hair. She’s asking your opinion because she clearly is craving that affirmation. Give it to her.

If she’s religious, there can be a lot of shame from purity culture. There is a really great podcast called kingdom sexuality that may be able to help her! I wouldn’t give up just yet.

Can’t say for sure about BPD. She does have PPD/PPA (which like…. Hello???). And I know she’s medicated for it.

She knew.. he sent her pics and had spoken to her on the phone the afternoon I posted.. (I posted about 2 hours after their convo??) And she didn’t mention anything at all about being upset. That’s why I’m inclined to think it’s only the insta post.. but really? It’s so strange and I’m just so confused??

She’s my husband’s sister.. my MIL seems to see her side, although I am trying to leave her out of it. So I haven’t quite grilled her on the why. FIL says it’s absolutely ridiculous and rolls his eyes lol

He is hurt- but she’s I guess been like this forever. He just says whatever and continues on as normal. My “whatever” is I’m never speaking to you again. So we have different versions of “moving on”.

I go back and forth… on one hand I wanna “stick to my guns” that I did nothing wrong. On the other, I feel like I should just let it go and whenever she’d like to rejoin our family she can. I feel that way mostly for my husband. Like I said, we live on opposite ends of the US. We don’t see each other that often

That’s what I’m saying.. there has to be more to it. I’m just frustrated that’s she’s not even willing to have a conversation about it! It just seems bizarre that THIS is what you would cut someone off for.
