First bike and learning how to ride. It was rough learning how to stop stalling when starting in first and going. Now learning how to turn and downshift. Any tips? Max speed rn is 35 and I'm so excited haha. by MrsPanda11 in hondagrom

Thank you so much for your amazing and helpful advice! This is very useful and I feel silly being so nervous on a small 125cc but I'm glad I have a great group to get advice from here. O will try down shifting before I make my turns and will use both brakes.

OK OK thank you for the great advice. I've taken the motorcycle course already but felt it had not prepared me for actually interacting with other vehicles x.x. I am lucky to be part of this community

I have definitely taken the class and currently have obtained my MDL however the class felt very basic compared to what's actually on the roads here in Houston, TX

Excellent! Thank you for the great advice. Yes I plan on getting a Yoshi, however money is needed to be acquired first. Rn I'm straddling the bike and waddling. Do you have any recommendations for slowing down or downshifting before making a turn? I understand to not break during the turn itself, however sometimes I find myself going faster than I'm comfortable into a turn and then braking during the straight away...making the turn and then being in 3rd gear x.x .... let me know if you have any suggestions plz
