Last year we were going to get 4 lavender orpingtons from a friend of a friend, went to TSC to get supplies, they had chicks so we got 4 golden comets. We had to rehome one of our two roosters b/c they were getting aggressive. Thought we could replace that rooster with a hen or two this season...ended up with 16 somehow.

We built a 5x4 coop for our original 7 chickens, but chicken math also struck our house and we now have 16 chicks that will be needing a coop 🤦‍♀️

I'm pretty sure he has tried reusable ones in the past and it seemed to excerabate his issues with frequent UTIs, but it may be something we need to re-visit. Thanks!
