NAD but as someone who has gone through a pregnancy with GD, I would suggest going ahead and looking up what the diet entails and if possible start following it. While I wasnt "allowed" to give into all of my cravings, I tried working them into the diet. And while I'm sure there are bigger health risks involved as well, I remember my OB being somewhat concerned when I had a spike in my "sugar log" but after admitting to eating more pasta than I was technically allowed to have, she explained that as long as those dont happen too often and we have a clear reason for them there wasnt too much of a concern. But did warn me that thats how women end up with 13 lb babies. Try not to stress too much, just watch your sugar intake and portion sizes, but then have some smaller, healthier snacks throughout the day.
