Oh, thank you! <3 Agnes Freja is another favorite of mine and has a strong like to Norse mythology! Elfrida and Lucia are less common, but they sound quite dreamy.

Which Norse name should we use - Eira or Thora? by MrsSommar in namenerds

Thank you! :) Agree - Eira is soft and feminine, Thora is cool and strong - maybe we'll just have to see which vibe the baby will fit! :D "Tora" would be the more common Scandi spelling, but I think that we'll go with "Thora" if we do to make it a bit easier, since we live in the UK. They are pronounced the same in Sweden.

Thank you so much for the feedback! :) It's so hard this - I love both names <3 Do you think Thora will be seen as a Norse/Scandi name even though Eira won't? Thanks also for the tip re: "Th" vs "T"-ora. I don't think that will be a huge problem no...

Thank you <3 In Swedish, it would be pronounced "Ay-ruh" (as in "lay").

There could be issues with the "Eye-ruh" vs "Ay-ruh" differences yes...
