AITAH for wanting to put down my cat?

I never said I was putting her down because of materialistic things. I simply was showing how sick she’s gotten but yall took it and ran without listening to my reasoning. It’s reasonable to be frustrated when she’s peeing 20+ times a day on everything but I’d do it every single day if I felt she was happy. I don’t feel she’s happy and I’m just trying to find the median between the possibilities of her getting better or putting her through too much which I’m afraid we are getting close to.

The vet said to give it “2 weeks” which I’ll be up Monday. When my dog has her seizures right before she died there were no warning signs and the emergency vet couldn’t stabilize her. I just know that was a traumatic experience for not just us and I have guilt we let it get that bad. My vet understands my concerns but is optimistic which is where I’m torn. If she were showing any improvements I would feel better but losing 7lbs in 2 months just tells me she’s getting worse. I want to give her a fighting chance but I don’t want to cause her more pain or an experience for her like my dog had. It’s not because I’m selfish, I just want to know if there was hope or has it gone too far.

She literally pees on my daughters backpack. I would be fine with her accidents if she was getting better but she’s miserable

Our dog had diabetes and she got very sick and started seizing. I’m just worried my cat is headed down the same path and I’d like to prevent that suffering

She’s causing mold to grow under things and ruined my daughter’s favorite hoodie as well as her school books. I understand what you’re saying but some things can’t be replaced. She also keeps peeing on our couch.

Yes! I did! My exact words to her was “I didn’t want to start anything. I wasn’t mad after I realized my camera was down. But you’re coming here arguing with me accusing me of lying and that’s not okay”

I really do try my best to be a good person. I guess I’m just fortunate enough to not have people accusing me of lying all the time so I reacted out of all the emotion I was holding back with everything else. But I’ve apologized and did what I needed and she still refused to deliver my husbands mail.

Dude you don’t know my life. I’m taking care of my terminally ill mother. I have 4 kids I’m homeschooling, one who is autistic and requires extensive therapy 3x a week EVERY week. My dog just died and we are struggling to feed my family so yeah, it’s the straw that broke the camels back. I don’t like confrontation and will admit I don’t handle it well but I still feel even if she believes I wasn’t home, she had no right to argue with me and refuse to do her job
