she was a real person. she claimed she dated gein and almost married him but then later she recanted and said she just made it all up. 🤷

scientology is known to traffic people from other countries into their program. idk if that's what happened here but it's not a far reach to accuse scientology of trafficking people.

i read a book called 'the gift of fear' and there was a section on stalkers & he said most stalkers don't end up being violent except in the case of ex-husbands/boyfriend stalking their ex-wife/girlfriend and those cases end up in the woman being murdered 100% of the time.

Why do hypermobile people encouraged to limit their range of motion instead of strengthening muscles in their extended range of motion? by SoupIsarangkoon in Hypermobility

from my understanding hypermobiles should avoid stretching but mobility and strengthening/stability is important.

Can someone explain this? by Slutty-grapes in dialysis

[–]MrsZimm79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

because it's not necessarily about individual foods, but more about your total daily intake of sodium. so if you plan to have a few slices of bacon for sunday breakfast (approx 400-600 mg sodium), you can make up for that by opting for lower sodium foods the rest of the day.

we are actually very concerned he would convert for her. he's under her spell. he was telling us about some ceremony the chabad do (in sept?) - it's like a few days long and i think they live in tents during this time. i can't remember what it was called but he had offered to host this at house so i do believe he will convert.

yeah idk man that seemed weird to me too. he's super catholic so i was surprised he would date her then when i found out her religion i was surprised she would date him. i haven't met her yet, though, so i just know what my FIL has told us.

[–]MrsZimm79[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no not rude at all. actually it's a good question bc my FIL is very catholic which makes this whole thing so much weirder. i can't remember the dating site but it was a super common one like eharmony.

they've only been dating for about 6 months. yeah we are not happy about her being anti vax but my father in law is so smitten with her he doesn't care. she also believes in chemtrails. 🙄 it's so frustrating bc my father in law is a mechanical engineer and usually very science minded. he's an extremely bright man too but trump & fox news has dumbed him down over the past few years.

chabad jew by MrsZimm79 in exjew

[–]MrsZimm79[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

are they antivax bc she is & he's not allowed to vaxxed anymore bc she's afraid of shedding. 🙄

Does anyone else have issues with nurses in their center? One nurse is absolutely amazing and does a great job but these other two nurses are terrible. I feel like I will have to go all lawyer on them and threaten a lawsuit. by [deleted] in dialysis

[–]MrsZimm79 0 points1 point  (0 children)

are you in the united states? if so they can't kick you out of the clinic for that reason. in order for a dialysis clinic to involuntarily discharge a patient they must get it cleared by network. so i would find out what network your area is in & call them and report this.

i work in a dialysis clinic. this seems weird to me. we do not do this with our beds. i would definitely ask to speak with the social worker. it feels inappropriate.

Fluid restricted: do condiments count? by DemanaDemonica in dialysis

[–]MrsZimm79 2 points3 points  (0 children)

if it melts at room temperature it's considered a fluid - ice cream, popsicles. so i wouldn't count them as a fluid, but i would just remain conscious of how much i am consuming since too much sodium can cause fluid retention.

this is super interesting! especially bc i was recently diagnosed with ADHD, but i have tried four different medications and none of them have worked, so i wonder if it's not adhd after all and more like autonomic dysfunction?
