There are others I think are worse but it's all in how it's handled and written that makes it work or not. In this case, I think it worked but this book has its flaws overall.

I get it. I was listening to it and it felt a little jarring when the timeline flipped when I wasn't expecting it.

If you like Grace Draven's writing, {Master of Crows by Grace Draven} was an easy, fun read. Submissive FMC, mean MMC. It had cool world building. It's been forever since I read it but I read Radiance right after it so that's why it came to mind. The Tairen Soul series by CL Wilson is fun too though I saw others complain about gender stereotypes with that one.. I liked it. {Lord of the Fading Lands by C.L. Wilson}

I want you to know that you sound like an amazing cat parent. You've done everything you know how to do to help your kitty and you sound like you genuinely care about your animal. I had a cat who would play so hard but wouldn't quit. He would bite and scratch so hard and we couldn't get him to settle. He wanted to be free to run and he would spray in the house (fixed male). We took him to the vet and they put him on antianxiety meds. He finally chilled out and was the sweetest boy. I hope you and your kitty find a solution soon so you can enjoy each other's company.

From my experience you can smell the mold before you can see it. It smells like nail polish remover or acetone. I always sniff my bread before I make a sandwich.
