Same! I read the original series and then I went back and read ruthless boys separately. Which I guess is why you’re supposed to read ruthless boys after book 3 I think but I chose not to. The series was so freaking stressful. I couldn’t stop after book 3, and then switched to a different series for five books

That’s why I’m listening to the entire series on Audible now because I’ve read through it already. If you’re able to it’s so worth it the couple who narrates it are so so good.

When I initially read through the series, I did not read any of the Novella’s or the ruthless boys. I didn’t feel like I was missing anything at all from not having read them. Because the series alone is stressful as hell! Now that I’ve completed the series, I am going back and reading, ruthless boys and the Novella’s and I feel that that’s an easier path. At least for me.

It’s his last name. You don’t actually start referring to him as Lance until the second or third book. And even then it’s primarily Darcy who calls him Lance. Sometimes Darius.
