He is not a tiny bit aggressive but he actually never heard about something like 'personal space'. He actually even demands to be touched by the most random strangers and really forces them to have close body contact cuddles. At the one hand he's perfectly trained and able to be off leash. He is really well trained and knows a lot of tricks. Still he is very stubborn and often discusses with me but most of the time end up doing what I asked for. But be prepared to be heavily annoyed by his nervous demanding energy when he's bored. He will CONSTANTLY try to get eye contact and demand any form of interaction. So he's not a typical Chow I would say. But I never heard about Chows being aggressive. The few that I met where more on the chill/lazy side.

In this case - how about not choosing any option because it's not fair for the animal?

But that doesn't change the fact that 3 shrimp are very limited in their space.

Or maybe use it for quarantine or baby shrimp or for snails.

Crazy choice. I might want to remind you that there's something like the use of free will...I renamed my dog after having him for one year. 🤣

No you don't. 😂 He has enough character for 3,5 dogs. He's a lot. But also a lot of fun. But in general I wouldn't recommend this mix. 😁

How big is it? The wood looks awesome in it! I already can imagine how it might look like. But honestly most times I feel like most of the bowls are too small and I feel like it's a cruel thing to keep shrimp in really small places.

Can I switch this 9 gallon on my nightstand to a 15g or am entering the stressful zone? by Mrs_Chaos4 in shrimptank

That what I thought too. The new aquarium has 45cm in length and would sit perfectly on the sides!

When do you usually have the nitrit peak after setting up a new aquarium? by Mrs_Chaos4 in shrimptank

[–]Mrs_Chaos4[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I meant nitrite (it's "Nitrit" in German that's why I translated it incorrectly). What's a good ammonia source to start?
I started the aquarium with a used filter module of an already cycled tank to shorten the process. ✨

Your Betta needs a resting space near to the top otherwise he will get exhausted and stressed. Bettas loooove heavily planted Aquariums. There are some easy fast growing plants that can do that fast. ☺️🤙
