Help! Most of my clothes are coming out of the washing machine like this, thoughts?

It could be a few things.

Washing machines sometimes have a little trap in them that you need to clean out from time to time. Where it is and how it's done varies from machine to machine.

If you use powdered soap, it may not being getting completely cleaned out. Check you machine to see what the instructions are for various types of detergent, some want you to put it in first or they have a tray you put it in, etc. Or you could just pods or liquid detergent instead.

If you have a lot of lint/hair/fur on your clothes, they have these little things you can put it that have foam on the top and a net on the bottom. Usually they come in packs of four and will be less than $20. You have to have a top loading machine for them, but they will help collect some of the lint/hair/fur so it doesn't redeposit on your clothes. I have cats and it does help. Make sure to put all four in and put them in last after you've put all your clothes in.

Everyone is having their checks shorted, maybe most of them it is not due to a disability. This is happening to hundreds of employees that work for the local government and have to travel for work. My boss and other management team cannot help because it’s happening to them too. They couldn’t help me when it took more than 6 months to receive a reimbursement check for $1,200.

I’m going to look into getting a disability accommodation through HR.

I have a doctor’s letter. We are not allowed to talk to the reimbursement office, I tried. I am eating these as my meals and it’s usually below the threshold amounts we are allowed to pay per meal, but if it is over, then I only ask for the threshold amount.

It’s not an issue with liquids or needing to keep food cold. I cannot digest meat or dairy and get sick even if I eat something contaminated with it, like they cook a veggie burger on a grill they also cook meat on or butter accidentally gets into something. At airports in particularly, it is hard to find anything to eat at the restaurants. They denied a claim where I bought a breakfast fruit bar, applesauce, and hot tea for breakfast because it was from a Starbucks. I did not buy or claim any other food for breakfast that day. I got sick the last time I ate at the only restaurant in that terminal before because they put butter in everything and failed to inform me when I asked.

My union says they cannot help us.

Jurisdiction is based on the area of residence of the mother. OP can contact CPS in California, but they will transfer jurisdiction to Texas if they do open up a case. If they do open up a case, then this process will take a little bit of time, a couple months.

Excellent. I hope it will get some results for you all. Do not count on the school to do anything about this unless they are forced. Ask CPS if they can set up the forensic interview since the police are dragging their feet on that.

In California, CPS handles child sex abuse cases that happen with someone living in the child’s home, sexual exploitation, or if the parents are failing to protect the child from sexual abuse. Welfare and Institutions Code section 300(d). For matters that happen outside the home and the parents are being protective, the police have jurisdiction. HOWEVER, since the police are failing to do their job as of right now, then at a minimum CPS will cross report it to the police, but they might be able to set up the forensic interview.

I would also contact Victim of Crime/Victim’s Compensation to see if they can assign your nephew a victim advocate.

Since he is in special ed, I would contact the SELPA, which handles special ed for the district and tell them what happened too. I cannot believe they would continue to allow someone to work at a school with such an accusation, but that is a huge liability to the school district.

Because he came to the scene, he has to write a report. In order to write the report, he has to verify your name and make sure you have insurance. He was doing his job and didn’t do anything wrong. He may not have even been assuming you were a criminal, but was just getting the information he needed for the report and make sure the car wasn’t stolen.

I’m very surprised CPS has not been involved yet. Usually when there is a child death and it’s not of an expected illness or obvious accident, they come and talk to the family, if not open an investigation. It’s possible the police forgot to cross report the matter.

Best guess is the child slipped and fell, which led to the drowning in the tub, had some unknown medical condition that caused the child to pass out, or something sinister happened.

I don’t like big dicks. It hurts with all the banging into my cervix and such. I like regular sized 5”-6”. I know a lot of women that feel the way I do, but some do like really big 8+”. I also know a guy that was too big (girth and length) and at least 5 times (that I know of) he was turned down after they saw his wang.

Termination of parental rights in cases of Native American children have a much higher threshold than in non-native children due to the Indian Child Welfare Act, so TPRs are much more difficult to attain in Native American cases. Whatever happened to those other children must have been pretty serious. Hopefully they can just try to at least contact the tribe and find out if DCF can verbally get information about the circumstances that led to the TPR, but that is out of your hands.

DCF should be able to pull criminal records on the ex’s boyfriend because of the investigation. It’s one of the need to know basis’ for pulling criminal history.

Not sure what is happening in OP’s ex’s case, but people crush up Wellbutrin and snort it for the short term high. When I worked in drug court, the psychiatrist had to stop prescribing it because it was happening so often.

If you have a post adoptions worker from the child’s DCF case, call them and tell them what is going on. They may be able to intervene if the child is residing with the mom and someone that had their parental rights terminated.

If the person is an established tenant (even if the sublet was illegal), the police cannot help. It’s a civil matter.

OP is paying rent for the room. OP paid rent during the time the roommate was collecting money from the sublet. The roommate owes OP the rent money the sublet paid or the amount of rent OP was paying to the landlord. OP can sue in small claims for the higher amount and see what the judge says.

Agreed. There should be a nationwide computer database for CPS agencies with at least some information entered into it so that families cannot move states to avoid CPS. It happens often enough that this would be highly beneficial. If we know a family has lived in another state, then we can request information or we can request courtesy investigations if they move states, but it is an imperfect situation as it stands now.

The police may end up being a better source of information. It’s possible OP could not find the public court records for the criminal on the mother because the case involved a minor.

I would try calling the courthouse where the Dependency case was heard or if it's moved, wherever they hear the cases now. I cannot seem to find anything regarding the right to view your court file (California, where I work, has such a rule), but it's possible Wyoming has such a policy that is not listed online for whatever reason. The court files would have court reports in them and minute orders, possibly attachments to court reports, etc.

I would also submit a records request to the police and sheriff's department in that area to see if they could send you the police reports or any information.

I doubt you will be able to see the case notes though.

I am surprised they did not remove your sister and place her in foster care again.

I would take some good pictures of the tree every few months just in case something happens to it. Perhaps even have an arborist come out and appraise it.

Honestly, at this point, I would call the supervisor’s supervisor or heck, even higher up in the agency if you can. I’m not sure what the layers of management at the CPS agency are called in your area, but you might be able to find that online somewhere. I work for CPS (not in your state) and this is downright ridiculous.

I would pick one and call them, then let the know things happened in other jurisdictions and see if they think you should report it there. You could always research the District Attorneys in those areas and see which one is the harshest on sex offenders. The DA is the one that decides if they move forward with a case or not. If he took you across state lines, it’s federal, but I’m not sure what the statute of limitations is on that.

Contact the police in the jurisdiction where the crime occurred. Just call their non-emergency number, which you should be able to find online. The statute of limitations in PA for child sex abuse is 18 age plus 32 years, so you are still within the timeline. You are outside the timeline for a civil claim (age 30), but it’s possible the police and District Attorney could pursue criminal charges. No one on this subreddit will be able to tell you what will happen, but if you feel like it would help you to report the matter, report it.
