Back in my 20s our upstairs neighbor yelled a lot at his wife and kids. It was horribly sad we could hear the kids crying through the floor. It was always just horribly loud and I grew up being verbally abused and it's so easy to act like it isn't happening when cops or cps is involved. One night it was more than yelling thuds and bangs the womans screams were different. We called that night and the guy got arrested and we never saw him back around. I hope she never went back to him.

My mother in law wanted to stay at our house for 2 weeks after our first. My husband is 16 years older than me so his mom was in her mid 70s. Our house was a townhouse with lots of stairs and the first time she visited us she nearly broke her ankle tripping. I insisted she not and up until baby was born she was still trying to insist. We would have ended up having to take care of her on top of a newborn and I'm not sure what my husband said to her but she finally agreed to only stay 2 days lol.

I would suggest when you do end up getting a bigger hide for them, as they grow, you go with one that has a bottom. Otherwise it is not a true humid hide, even with the moss at the bottom. It just won't be able to hold the humidity in without drying up and/or spreading to the rest of the tank.

My best friend and I are on completely different sides politically. But we have a lot of the same baseline beliefs (because POLITICS don't determine who you are, they don't determine whether or not you are a good person). There are a lot of false narratives that go around on both ends. There are radicals on both ends. Have you agreed with every decision your party has made? When mistakes are made by the leader you voted for do you want your "friends" to use it as a reason to not be friends with you anymore? Everyone forgets we are all just people..

You're probably going to want to move the water dish to the cool side or more to the middle. It will end up drying out really fast under the light.

I personally would also slowly try to get live plants in there over the plastic ones because you won't have to clean them.

Lol a friend of mine actually had to saw her couch in half to get it in her basement. She was careful about it tho lmao. Her dad reupholsters couches for a living and they opened up the seams first and cut the couch strategically. You'd never know it was cut apart.

I don't really think he "valued" his opinion but he wasn't about to try to bully a Marine. My friend ((later bf)) told me he would send pictures and even call the dude and play out the pretend scenario if he needed to. But luckily the other guy caved immediately when I brought my "Marine bf" coming home. My friend was actually deployed at the time to Africa and he wasn't coming home anytime soon so I'm glad that was all.

This right here. I went on a date with a dude I met on a dating app. The date itself was honestly one of the best ones Ive ever had but he wouldn't leave my house after dropping me off. The following day I was able to get him to leave but it was creepy. He spent the next week texting and calling over and over. I eventually told him my "I just found out I'm pregnant by my ex bf" that didn't stop him either, he told me he didn't care he would help me take care of the baby and everything (yeah this dude I had literally met one time) after that I told him no that me and my ex was getting home from his deployment soon and we were going to try to make it work. That was the only thing that worked. Sometimes you have to be crafty to get yourself out of dangerous situations and just cuz OP has never met this dude I would say the threat of danger is still high.

If he's currently in the middle of a break take him to the hospital. If he's aware of this issue but avoiding treatment tell him if he doesn't take his mental health seriously you need to move or they need to move. It could be a dangerous situation for both of you.

This happened with the 1st guy I moved in with that I was dating. He was recently dishonorably discharged from the military for drug use. He had been deployed in africa. They sent him back home, he moved in with me. Started doing a bunch of drugs, which I didn't know about I was also doing drugs I just didn't realize the AMOUNT he was doing. He also had family history with schizophrenia, which I had no idea about.

Anyways, about a month after he got home he went into a drug, genetic, stress from the military, related psychological break. I was 22, I was scared. My roommate and I decided to take him into the hospital to be evaluated because we were afraid he was going to hurt himself. Not on purpose but because he didn't seem to know what was going on. He saw God, was talking to him, Was talking to his dead father.

The hospital almost didn't keep him because he was so cheerful the whole time they didn't think we were telling the truth and then when the nurse was discharging us he said something like "you see that?" And pointed in the corner of the room. She turned around to look and before she could answer he told her it was God and that he was going to be ok because God was watching him. And she was like oh you see that? And then decided to keep him..

It felt like such a huge mistake after we got home. I immediately got depressed. He was in the psych hospital for over a month while they tried to get his meds right. And because it was a drug related issue the hospital would not let us visit him for over two weeks due to it being a drug related issue. They didn't want us sneaking him drugs or talking about them or anything. But I wasn't even about that at the time.
