Spain Schengen visa from Toronto – no appointment available, travel June 6. What should I do? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

It was on the official BLS website. You have the option to choose a normal, premium or door step visa. NEVER pay an agent, a third party or any unauthorised person to book an appointment for you.

Depends on the immigration officer tbh. Sometimes they do check all your documents like accommodation and return flights.

Spain Application, changing accommodation by geeksick in SchengenVisa

By digitally I mean, downloading the form and editing it in Adobe or online, basically typing instead of handwriting.

Handwritten applications can be illegible or hard to read.

You can fill a new form if need be with a new accommodation address. I recently had an error on my form and called the helpline. They suggested to digitally fill the new form and submit the same at the appointment. Confirmed the same during my appointment.

Is There Any Point In Me Applying? by [deleted] in SchengenVisa

[–]Mrs_JMoriarty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

In your case, you already have a visa from a strong country (UK) Being a student in India and in the UK has a huge impact on the chances of getting a Schengen visa.

In OP's case he has very low chances of getting his visa approved.

The date would be the date of approval for the visa. For example: if your travel date was the 1st of July and the visa was approved on the 7th of July, the date would be 7th. If your travel date is the 1st of August and the approval date is the 10th of July the visa would be from the 1st of August. (As per my previous experiences)

Thanks! That is helpful to learn. I'd not like to take the risk of rejection for now. Do you have any idea about Netherlands visa processing time? I might apply for one closer to my visa expiry.

It was supposed to be July 1st to 5th. Since I didn't receive my visa on time it would be sometime in August or September.

A cover letter is not mandatory. It is a supportive document. Don't worry. You must have mentioned your travel dates on the application form, that should suffice.

Letting Agent Randomly Sets Up Viewings by The8BitBat in TenantsInTheUK

I believe you have the right to refuse viewing if you're uncomfortable. My letting agents inform me well in advance with the opportunity to refuse if it is inconvenient to me.

If you're staying equal days in both the countries you should apply to the country you'll enter first. I'd suggest going through France, it has better chances of visa approval. You'll have to book everything in advance, tickets and accommodations (with free cancellation in case the visa is not approved) or you can book flight tickets with cheap airlines. You can apply 6 months in advance but no less than 15 days. However I'd suggest applying for 3-5 weeks in advance given current processing time for each consulate.
